A bit about Maria

My interests are in all aspects of disease understanding how it happens i.e. genetics or environmental factors, pharmaceutical means of combatting it and clinical biochemical tests to detect it. Through my passion and experience within the medical science field I can provide flexible learning for students requiring assistance with biology and chemistry. Learning will be supplemented with my own personalised notes, diagrams and tips to help students get the most out of their tuition.

How does Maria run their lessons?

Lessons will be ran in a week by week basis, with more availability provided nearer exam time. Each lesson will be tailored to the student's strengthens, with the help of diagrams, mnemonics and colour to help in understanding. Focus will be put on past-paper exam questions, which can often be daunting for students, but through repetition and familiarisation, students will be able to understand what the questions are asking them and how to answer the question to achieve high marks.
