A bit about Jo

I am an outgoing teacher of secondary French who has been working in Scottish schools for over 16 years. I am fun and outgoing and I think I relate to young people well. I've taught in the private and state sectors. I'm passionate about helping young people to be the best they can be, and would consider myself a passionate educator.

How does Jo run their lessons?

It is so important to get to know my students from the first lesson, and to understand their experiences so far learning my subject. This helps form a good, honest working relationship where the students can be really candid about how they feel they are progressing and what we need to do to help them succeed. I have a good sense of humour and love teaching young people and helping them to achieve their goals.
