A bit about Dimona

Hello there! My name is Dimona and I am happy to offer tutoring in Maths and Physics up to Advanced Highers and A-Level. I am originally from Bulgaria. I moved to England to complete my A-Levels in Physics, Maths, Further Maths and Chemistry, and achieved A*A*AA respectively. I'm currently a 3rd Year Theoretical Physics student at the University of Edinburgh. Last summer, I completed an internship in an English high school, teaching Science and Maths lessons to students aged 11 to 18. This opportunity gave me experience of planning, delivering and adjusting lessons based on the students' abilities, and I am ready to apply these skills in my tutoring sessions. How does Dimona run their lessons?

I firmly believe Science and Maths can be easily accessible and interesting to all students. What it takes is figuring out how to make it interesting to different students - and that is the approach I take in my lessons. As I have experience of different educational systems (Bulgarian, English, Scottish), I tend to incorporate various approaches to my lessons depending on what is most appropriate for my tutees. I also include examples from their own interests in order to keep them more engaged!
