A bit about Aqsa

I am a PhD-Engineering student at The University of Edinburgh, Scotland. I did Masters in Electrical Engineering in 2015. Since then I am teaching students of different levels. I have 7 years of teaching experience as a Lecturer and a Lab Engineer at reputed Engineering Universities. I have taught various Electrical and Electronics Engineering courses to BSc Engineering students. Currently, I am tutoring Electromagnetics 3: Signal Transmission course to BSc Electrical Engineering- Semester:02 students and also designing and conducting labs of Radio Frequency (RF) and Microwave Circuits and Systems 5 (BSc Electrical Engineering- Semester:05 course) at the University of Edinburgh. My past teaching experience has shown me how students can excel in their subjects with just a little extra help. I have learned various skills over the time from my teaching experience that I can use effectively in lessons to explain concepts in a better way.

How does Aqsa run their lessons?

My passion for teaching and extensive teaching experience made me a skilled educator over the time. I have taught and interacted with many students throughout my teaching carrier. All students possess different educational needs. I personalise the lessons based on the requirements of the students. I try to make sessions more interesting and productive by focusing more on the content relevant to the learning needs of the students. I tend to incorporate various approaches to present different concepts, ideas and principles by adding animations in power point presentations in addition to explaining the concepts with the help of analogies where needed.
